It has been a crazy week. On Veteran’s Day, MJ’s Grandmother/our kids only living Great Grandmother passed away due to complications from a stroke. She was 92 years old.
We love you and we will miss you Tennie Partin (“Grandmutter”).
Mommy has had COVID, and I have been in quarantine. The kids Great Grandmother dying turned mommy being sick into- “Is mommy going to dead too?”
MJ has had to be Dommy this week. That is Daddy and Mommy together. He has been doing a great job. He made up new things like “Bathtub Assembly Line”, to be efficient while mommy has “COVID Cooties”.
Having COVID feels like wearing a corset, while having the flu and broncitus all at the same time.
According to MJ, COVID is “yucky janky stuff all up in your breathing business”.
Daddy and the kids have been very loving and supportive of Mommy while I have been in COVID quarantine.
Here are some of the cute, loving, and supportive things that they have done:
They all slept in the tiny bedroom next to my quarantine bedroom, to be close to me.
They made me “Eggs Quarantine”.
They all took deep breathes and blew the air to me under the door so I would have air to breath.
They had a “Get Well Soon” concert for me in the hallway.

“Momma’s in quarantine. She’s always cute and she’s never mean. Momma’s in quarantine.”

They have played Duck, Duck, COVID, and Ring Around The COVID.

“Daddy has mijanes (migraines) in his head. Mommy has mijanes in her chest.”
“Is mommy still in the teen (quarantine)?”
When they didn’t like the food, the food
“Yucky! This food is COVID.”
“Daniel Tiger is COVID. Yets watch Bwaze and the Momster Machines.”
Liz asked Daddy- “Is COVID in mommies butt hole too?”
Daddy said- “I think so. COVID is an all over the body virus.”
Liz said- “I hope mommy poops it out.”
Daddy said- “Mommy will be okay. We just need to give her all of our love and support.”
I love you MJ. You are such a good Daddy and husband.
Daddy is doing an amazing job, but the FBI showed up and they need Daddy’s help in Washington, so I had to call in reinforcements. I had to the call the amazing, awesome, best Grandma of all time, Mam Mam, MJ’s mom.
Sometimes things are not alright right now, but you know that everything will be alright.
