Dear Family and Friends,
We are so thankful to you for spending Christmas with us. It was great to see and spend time with all of you. Thank you for all of the fun times, shared memories, meals, and experiences. Elizabeth, Cash, Natalie, Michael, Victoria, Caroline, and Christopher, loved having new kids and adults to play with, share with, and learn from.
We had family and friends visit and stay with us from California, Massachusetts, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and South Africa. We even had a visit from the Vice President, Kamala Harris, and her husband Doug.
When our new neighbors came over to introduce themselves and bring us a dessert, and they told us they didn’t have family to spend Christmas with, I don’t know who said it, but it was heartwarming when so many of you said to them- “Come on in here. Be a part of our family.” I teared up. It was a very Hallmark movie moment, but in real life.
I will email a link with all the shared pictures and videos. Please don’t publicly post any of the pictures or videos without permission from the DOD liaisons office first. I will include their contact information on the email I send with the shared pictures and videos link. We have already talked with them, and they said sharing most of the pictures and videos shouldn’t be a problem. Sorry for the inconvenience, but with MJ’s national security work, the government just wants to make sure there aren’t any risks to MJ/our family. That said, feel free to share any pictures or videos privately anytime that you would like to.
We wish you a happy and healthy new year, and we look forward to hopefully being able to spend Christmas with you in 2022.
