Thank you Mr. Morris. I never thought in a million years I would in the place I am in now, doing what I do, but it warms my heart to know that my work is appreciated.
I have been able to see the world from a completely different perspective, and I have to say that the world may be made up of many different age groups, races, religions, and socio-economic groups, but one thing unites us all, and it’s that we all love and care about our families, we want peace and security, and we also want the opportunity to better ourselves economically.
We don’t often hear about the 99.99% of people who all want the same things. Most of the time we hear about the .001%, which are the disruptive radical elements of the country/world.
Whenever I lecture/teach incoming recruits at intelligence school, I always try to enforce the philosophy I referenced above. What most people don’t realize, is national security has a lot to do with international security.
You can’t and wouldn’t want to bomb/go to war with all of the places in the world you don’t agree with. The only long-term solution for peace and prosperity around the world, is through partnership, and working together. Force/dictatorships, etc., don’t last.
I know what you’re probably thinking- Did “MJ The Terrible” turn into a hippy or something?
The answer is no. I realize there are some evil people in the world, who are hell bent on hurting others, etc., but it’s a very small percentage of the world.
As long as the 99.99% of us, who want peace and prosperity, who are by and large good decent people, work together for the greater good, the future will continue to get brighter.
Sincerely,
Michael “MJ The Terrible” Johnson
