The other day I got a chance to get to know the girl in the picture attached to this post. She was so friendly and helpful to me during the event I was at, that I was blown away by her kindness and compassion towards people. During a conversation with her, she mentioned her hair falls out, due to the medication she is on, and she likes to wear a wig, because it makes her feel good about herself, but some of the people in her life make fun of her for wearing it. It is also important to mention that the people who make fun of her know that she also suffers from depression, due to her hair falling out, and other serious health issues.
So, to summarize, this kind, sweet girl, who I would have lost my mind without yesterday, who is suffering from some very difficult health issues, and the one thing that makes her feel normal and happy, which doesn’t hurt anybody, she gets made fun of for wearing? I’m not talking about kindhearted jokes here. I’m talking about brutally mean jokes, that make her feel like crap! From the minute I heard her tell me about this, I was both heartbroken and furious at the same time. I asked her to send me a picture of her wearing her wig, and if it would be okay to write about this, and she said yes. I told her I wouldn’t mention her name, but if you know this girl, or you run into her someday, or she is standing in front of you at the check out counter at Walmart, please tell her that she is beautiful, pay for the items she’s buying if she is in line in front of you, and overall just support her if it all possible. When this damn near angel on earth, who was absolutely incredible to me yesterday reads this post, I want her to know 2 things. #1. Thank you very much for all of your help. #2. Masters of Money, across our social media network has about 200,000 friends, followers and fans now, and I think I can confidently say that means you now have about 200,000 friends, followers and fans too.
