Notes about this video:
At the time of this video (2010), Michael Johnson (MJ) was living in Austin, Texas, and his Asian Mom, Chin Soum, lived in Akron, Ohio. What is special about this video besides the obvious fact that MJ was able to visit his friends and family out of state, is this was the last time he was allowed to travel outside of the state of Texas without first getting permission from the government, and second, having supervision travel along with him.

Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): Look at momma smile. You come by yourself?
MJ: Look what I have.
Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): You come by yourself?
MJ: Yeah. I don’t have a lot of time, but I bought you some gifts and stuff from the trip. Say I love you Ga My.
Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): I love you.
Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): It’s cold.
MJ: I love you so much.
Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): Why you like that? Why mom call two times not pick up the phone.
MJ: Well, I’m sorry. What the hell?
MJ: I love you so much. And I’m videoing because I want to have it on my camera forever and I want to have it on my computer forever.
Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): Whatever. Why you want to put me on your computer?
MJ: Because.
Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): Anybody gonna be scare.
MJ: A lot of people die and my mom friend she have the breast cancer. You know. In here.
Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): Cancer where? Here.
MJ: (Inaudible.)
Chin Soum (MJ’s Asian Mom): Okay. Mom cold.
MJ: Okay. I love you.
