When I took CJ to school this morning, someone snuck over to CJ and I’s apartment, and put 2 jerseys on the bed, one for me, and one for him, for tomorrows game.
CJ and I are going to the first Texas Longhorns Football game of the year tomorrow. Baby, I will love you until the cows come home. Then I will love you until hell freezes over! You are the most loving person I have ever known!
In the letter that my amazing, beautiful. Incredible, wife put on top of the 2 jerseys, she wrote- “Your two adopted home states, Texas and Maryland are playing each other. Who are you going to root for?”
I love Maryland. We have a house there, and we spend a lot of time there. That said, Maryland became one of my 2 adopted home states by default, not by choice. Texas was by choice. My parents, CJ, the twins, and Malia, live in Austin most of the time, so I have to give the advantage to Texas, and root for the Longhorns!
Side note: I wouldn’t be upset if it was a close game. I don’t want Maryland to get blown out. I love Maryland as well, so I’m hoping for a close game, with Texas pulling it out in the end.
