My son is about to be 5, and this is the first time he’s ever seen snow……
I grew up in Ohio, where the winters are cold and snowy.
Whenever I try to tell my wife, who grew up in South Africa, or my son, who grew up in Austin, a snowy/winter type of story, I don’t think they fully get it, the same way I’m describing it.
I can’t wait to take my non snowbird family on a winter vacation, when we have time/aren’t pregnant.
I pride myself on being a good Dad because being a Dad is the most important job I will ever have.
No matter how good or bad things are in my life, I will always try to be the best husband and daddy I know how to be, and I will always love you Malia and our kids with my whole heart.
