My son CJ loves bedtime stories. He likes to tell them sometimes, and sometimes he likes me to tell them.
Last night CJ and I watched the Brady Bunch movie. Later that night at bedtime, he asked me- “Daddy, do you think the Brady Bunch could beat Andre The Giant in a wrestling match?” I laughed, and said, I don’t think that would ever happen big guy. Then CJ asked me to tell him a cool Brady Bunch story.
I thought about it for a minute. Then CJ said- “Does the Brady Bunch have more people in their family or is it just the 8 of them and that lady who wears the apron all the time?”
I told him I had no idea, since that was my first time seeing the movie, and I don’t know much about the Brady Bunch. CJ replied- “Use your imagination Daddy.” It was at that moment, that the Brady Bunch’s newest family member was introduced, and it was none other than the legendary pro football quarterback, Tom Brady.
In case you’re wondering where the story went, it didn’t go far, because CJ fell asleep about a minute into it.
That said, the story started with…..Once upon a time, in the magical land of Daddy Imaginationville, the Brady Bunch discovered they had a long lost uncle, who was one of the greatest pro football players of all time.
So one day when this family went on vacation, they met this fellow, and when they talked to him, they knew it was much more than a hunch. That’s the day they discovered, Tom Brady was a member of the Brady Bunch.
