Questions:

1. Who was the hardest person in your life to tell about all of this “MJ The Terrible” stuff?

2. How did your mom know which MJ was which in court with your exwife during the divorce hearing?

Answers:

1. That’s an easy one….MY MOM! I worried about it for days. My mom and I have always been close. I was surprised how much she already knew. A lot of her assumptions were right, once Chris(MJ2) and I started telling her everything. “Mothers intuition” I suppose.

My mom said she knew something was off, when I (MJ2) didn’t sleep with my son, didn’t have a car seat in the car, and was never alone with my son. Note: He wasn’t allowed to be.

Chris and I had already been friends for years, before he made the transformation into “MJ#2”, so my mom knew Chris. It was interesting to see how my mom sort of figured out it was Chris, because Chris acted well, like Chris would act.

2. After we told her everything, and told her what we needed her to do, when my now exwife was going to leave, my awesome as hell mom said- “I trust you. I knew something wasn’t right for awhile, but now that I know I can help make things right, whatever I can do, please let me know. I love you son, and my newly adopted son Chris as well.”

The way we communicated the switches to her was by name reference. MJ#1 was “Mike” and MJ#2 was “Michael.”

Their was so much planning for the day of the hearing. I think we were all glad my ex had no clue what was going on. The element of surprise was big that day.
